{"id":1935,"date":"2015-02-04T15:30:07","date_gmt":"2015-02-04T15:30:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pt.entrevinhas.com\/en\/?p=1935"},"modified":"2022-09-28T15:06:56","modified_gmt":"2022-09-28T15:06:56","slug":"port-wine-cellars","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/madalenavidigal.com\/en\/port-wine-cellars\/","title":{"rendered":"Port Wine Cellars"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #808000;\">Whether you like wine or not, the Port wine cellars are some of the most fascinating places in Portugal<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">I have recently visited the Port wine cellars, in Vila Nova de Gaia, and felt as if I was travelling through time, back to when wine barrels were brought by \u2018rabelo\u2019 boats from the estates in the Douro region into the city, to be stored and sold.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In spite of being the dim and musty tokens of a history more than 300 years old, while visiting each cellar I did not feel victim of a time warp.
